Balneotherapy treatments

Balneotherapy is the use of medicinal waters and minerals to treat various health problems and promote well-being.
This therapy includes medicinal water baths, mud baths, carbonated baths and medicinal water inhalations.
The chemical components of the medicinal waters, such as sulphur, iodine and various minerals, help to relieve pain, reduce inflammation and improve metabolism

Sludge treatment

One of the most characteristic effects of sludge treatment is the thermal effect and the stimulating effect of the organic and inorganic substances in the sludge.
The treatment is particularly effective in the after-treatment of musculoskeletal disorders such as arthritis, calcifications and injuries.
The use of mud improves blood circulation, relieves pain and helps tissue regeneration.

Contraindications: malignant neoplasms, severe hypertension, acute or semi-acute inflammatory conditions.

Treatment time: 20 minutes

Important note: The mud is applied only to the area specified by the specialist, ensuring targeted and effective treatment.

Carbonic acid bath

During a carbonic bath, the carbon dioxide dissolved in the water has a vasodilating effect, which reduces blood pressure, improves heart function and the blood supply to the kidneys and other organs.
It is also effective in lowering blood sugar levels.
This treatment is particularly recommended in cases of circulatory disorders, heart disease, incipient vascular stenosis and peripheral circulatory problems.
It also helps in the treatment of coronary artery disease, venous insufficiency, leg ulcers and complications of diabetes.

Contraindications: malignant neoplasms, thrombosis, phlebitis, decompensated cardiac function.

Treatment time: 15 minutes

Additional benefits:Regular use of a carbonated bath can help improve circulation, strengthen the cardiovascular system and optimise blood sugar levels, thereby improving overall health.

Medicinal water inhalation

Inhalation of medicinal water is a special form of balneotherapy, where a mineral-rich medicinal water vapour is inhaled. This method delivers active ingredients directly into the airways, helping to treat and prevent respiratory diseases and improve overall health. Medicated water inhalation is recommended for a wide range of respiratory problems, including chronic bronchitis, asthma, emphysema and bronchiectasis, as well as colds, sinusitis, laryngitis and tonsillitis. It is effective in aiding recovery after respiratory surgery and is also excellent for prevention, especially for those who are exposed to air pollution or suffer from allergies.

The treatment is carried out with an inhalation device that atomizes the medicinal water into fine particles.

Contra-indications: However, it should not be used in the case of acute respiratory infections, pneumonia, febrile conditions, severe heart disease, active tuberculosis, pulmonary embolism, respiratory failure, kidney disease or allergies to the components of the medicinal water. The benefits of the treatment include reducing inflammation, promoting mucous membrane regeneration, relieving coughing and facilitating mucus clearance and phlegm clearance.

Treatment time: 15 minutes

Additional benefits: the minerals have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation of the airways. The treatment supports the regeneration of the mucous membrane, stimulating its healing and cleansing. It is effective in relieving dry or hacking coughs, and its mucolytic action facilitates the expectoration of phlegm.

A simple, effective, and natural way to clear your airways and ease breathing!
