Reservations
How can I book for a family of four or more?
On the hotel’s website you can book a family room for 4 persons. If one of the children is under 4 years of age, it is sufficient to mention their arrival in the note. In this case, the child under 4 years will be placed in the Parents’ Room. It is also possible to add a baby cot to the room, but this is a more limited accommodation option.
If a family room is no longer available, please ask for a personalised offer from our colleagues, who will respond to your request within 24 hours.
Do I have the possibility to pre-select which room I want?
We try to accommodate requests for room locations, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee them. Especially in high season, we may not be able to accommodate such requests.
What services are included in the prices?
Is there a minibar in the room?
All our rooms have a stocked minibar, which is checked daily by our staff and refilled according to consumption. Minibar items are charged according to the attached price list. In the event that you do not require the minibar service, please inform our Colleagues and it will be emptied to preserve its quality.
Arrival and departure
From what time can I book my hotel room?
Rooms are available from 14:00 on the day of arrival and until 10:00 on the day of departure.
Are early arrivals and late departures possible?
During peak and holiday periods, early booking or late check-out is not possible. However, during the rest of the year, depending on the occupancy of the hotel, these services are available at an extra charge and subject to prior arrangement.

Our guests can use the services of the hotel’s spa before booking their room, and bathing wristbands for certain units of the Hungarospa Spa Complex can be picked up at the hotel reception from 10 am.
We offer a luggage room for guests to store their luggage at no extra charge.
What documents should I take with me?
2021. From 1 September 2011, in accordance with the legislation in force, accommodation providers in Hungary must record all guests’ personal data, as defined by law, through the use of a document scanner upon arrival. All guests are kindly requested to bring their ID, passport or driving licence in a physical form and present it at the reception upon arrival. It is important to note that we are not able to accept IDs presented by phone, tablet or as copies. Accommodation providers are required by law to keep accurate records, so please have the necessary documents with you on arrival. In the absence of this document, the accommodation shall refuse to accept the Guest. Data on children under 14 are also needed in the system. Although their details can be provided on the basis of a parental declaration, we recommend that they bring their ID cards with them for faster and more accurate data entry. Baths and spa
Which units of the Hungarospa Spa Complex are included in the room rate?
The following spa passes are provided as standard for the room:
- Aqua-Palace indoor adventure pool: every day except departure day from 10 am
- Spa: provided all year round subject to opening hours
- Árpád swimming pool: guaranteed all year round depending on opening hours
- Beach: seasonally every day from 9 am
- Premium Zone: every day from 10 am except arrival day seasonally
- Aquapark: every day from 10 am except arrival day in season
Direct access to the Hungarospa Spa Complex?
We are the only hotel to offer our guests the services of 7 spa units, taking into account the seasonality!
There are no closed connections from the hotel, only the facilities listed below, which are just a few minutes’ walk or drive away. The wristbands provide unlimited, multiple access.
- The Aqua-Palace indoor adventure pool and the Aquapark can be accessed via the Hungarospa Thermal Camping and the beach next to the hotel.
- The Beach and Spa can be accessed via the Hungarospa Thermal Camping or the beach gate on József Attila Street.
- Guests can access the Premium Zone through the hotel garden.
- The indoor Árpád Swimming Pool can be reached by a comfortable walk through the Hungarospa Thermal Camping or from Böszörményi Road.
What pools are available in the hotel?
The Hungarospa Thermal Hotel has 3 indoor and 1 outdoor thermal pools of different temperatures, open all year round, as well as a weight room, Finnish sauna and plunge pool in the pool area.
Can children bathe in the thermal water?
Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the thermal water, and due to its composition, the maximum recommended bathing time for our adult guests is 20-30 minutes. Please respect the above mentioned rules!
What treatments can I have?
In our hotel’s own medical department, all year round, without referral, under the supervision of a specialist, you can receive treatments subsidised by the National Health Insurance Fund (NEAK) (mud baths, weight baths, underwater group gymnastics, medical massage, underwater jet massage, carbonic baths, hydrogalvanic treatment, inhalation, electrotherapy treatments).
Our foreign guests can choose between our Pausal and Special Spa treatments according to their health problems, also under the supervision of a specialist doctor.
Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of other spa and wellness services during their stay.
What wellness services can I use?
The wellness area of Hungarospa Thermal Hotel offers a variety of massages, body treatments, sauna, solarium and salt therapy. These services are designed for physical and mental refreshment and total relaxation. For more information on our treatments, please visit the wellness section.
Restaurant
What happens if I don't make it to the hotel by dinner?
On the day of arrival, a cold dinner will be prepared in the room for guests arriving after 21:00, provided that they call in advance to inform us of their late arrival.
What should I do if I have food sensitivities?
Allergen content of our food on menus and menu cards will be indicated as well. If you have any questions, please, please contact our colleagues. For individual dietary requirements – by prior arrangement – we offer the possibility of special for meals, for an extra charge. Please submit your request to. if possible, please indicate at the time of booking that you wish to to prepare a tailor-made offer. The mark-up rate is subject to negotiation (from a minimum of HUF 2 500).
Other information
What parking is available at the hotel?
Subject to availability, parking is free of charge in the hotel’s courtyard.
Please ask at reception for information on charging electric cars.
Can I bring my pet?
In our hotel, PET accommodation is not available.
Where can I smoke in the hotel?
The entire hotel is non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas, 5 metres from the main entrance, and at tables with ashtrays on the patio, 5-5 metres from the courtyard exit and the walkway surrounding the pool. Please note that if you smoke in a prohibited place, we will charge you a compensation amount.
Payment and cancellation conditions
How can I pay?
At Hungarospa Thermal Hotel*** you can choose from the following payment methods:
- cash payment in HUF and EUR (according to the exchange rate on the day)
- by credit card (Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express)
- SimplePay
- by SZÉP card (OTP, MBH, K&H – in accordance with current legislation)
We accept cards from all three SZÉP card issuing banks. According to the terms and conditions, we can only accept a personal SZÉP card in the cardholder’s own name, subject to the cardholder’s hotel registration.
OTP SZÉP card: by logging into the OTP SZÉP card admin interface, it is possible to transfer a deposit/reservation (in the search engine, just search for Hungarospa, then you can select Hungarospa Thermal Hotel from the list of beneficiaries)
MBH SZÉP card: please contact the hotel by phone to authorise online payment.
K&H SZÉP card: you can initiate payment via the call centre using the hotel’s identification number (84008725).
What discounts are available at the hotel?
Child benefit:
Children up to the age of 12 years are entitled to a discount. Children under 4 years stay free of charge. Between 4 and 12 years of age, the price is 50% of the adult price, unless the child is in a main bed, in which case 75% of the adult price will be charged.
Group discount:
Group discounts are available for bookings of a minimum of 21 people. Please ask for details by individual request.

Is there a pensioner discount?
For our Pensioner Guests, we offer discounted packages that can be booked with NEAK subsidised treatments.
What are the payment and cancellation conditions?
Payment terms: guests can pay 30% of the package price as a deposit within 3 days after booking by bank transfer, SZÉP card or via SimplePay system. The remaining amount is payable on the spot.
Cancellation Policy: for Individual Guests, the hotel room can be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival without penalty. Cancellations are free of charge 14 days prior to arrival in high summer season. The penalty is the amount of the deposit paid as a deposit, i.e. 30% of the package price.
