Dr. Judit Kálmánczhey: Candidate for the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical Prize 2024

Hungarospa Hajdúszoboszló Zrt. is delighted to announce that its rheumatologist, Dr Judit Kálmánczhey, has been nominated for the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical Award 2024. This award, established by the Public Foundation for Health, is given to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the medical profession.
The St George Albert Medical Award was established in 2017 by Goodwill Pharma in partnership with the Goodwill Pharma for Health Foundation. This was to honour the memory of Albert Szent-Györgyi, Nobel Prize-winning physician and researcher, whose work left a profound mark on medicine. The aim of the award is to recognise every year those doctors who stand out from their peers not only for their professional skills but also for their human attitude.
Dr. Judit Kálmánczhey deserves her nomination. She works with exemplary dedication and scientific precision to help her patients. In addition to his work in the field of rheumatology, his people-oriented approach is outstanding. For his patients, he is not only a doctor, but also a support and advisor. During the nomination period, anyone can nominate doctors whose work they consider outstanding. The nomination can be accompanied by a short justification or personal story explaining why the doctor deserves the recognition.
The voting period is 2024. started on 19 February and runs until 19 March. During this period, the public can vote for the doctors nominated. The results will be announced in 2024. will take place on 18 April at the Awards Gala of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest.
In addition to the Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical Prize, there are other awards for doctors. In addition to the 7 audience prizes chosen by the public, two special prizes will be awarded. The value of each award is HUF 500.000. The Goodwill Pharma Special Award is given to a young doctor who serves as a role model not only in Hungary but also abroad, or who brings knowledge to the country that enhances the potential of the domestic medical community. The other special prize is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to a specialist who has demonstrated outstanding long-term commitment to his or her patients and scientific work.
